Automation for iGaming: checks that finish before kick-off

An operator repeats the same checks before every event: creatives against a checklist, promo codes and bonuses against terms, payment integrations against statuses. By hand it does not always get done in time. We automate control where it repeats and leave decisions to people — on disputed creatives, on complaints, on money.

What we automate for operators

  • Creative and promo page checks before placement: mandatory disclaimers, age labels, prohibited wording — against the market checklist, with a result log and hand-off of disputed items to a moderator.
  • Promotion mechanic reconciliation: promo codes and bonuses in a test account run through the crediting flow on a schedule, discrepancies with the terms go to the team chat.
  • Payment integration monitoring: deposit and withdrawal statuses are reconciled with provider data, stuck operations are flagged before a player writes about them.
  • Request collection on peak days: a bot takes the request, classifies it, asks for operation data and passes it to an agent with a filled-in card.
  • Event report: request volume, topics, defects, response time — assembled automatically by the next morning.
  • Scheduled regression runs: critical flows start before the event, the report goes to the chat.

The creative checklist as a workflow

A creative check is a set of rules, most of which can be formalised: is the mandatory disclaimer present, is it the right size, are there prohibited words, is the age stated. A workflow on n8n and Python with a language model goes through the rules, writes a protocol and hands the moderator only what needs a human decision. That way checking a hundred banners before a promotion takes minutes, and the log keeps a record for each — for the platform and the regulator.

Deliverables: working workflows with documentation, a check log, reconciliation protocols, chat alerts — and measured team hours saved per week.

Guard rails we always set

  1. The language model classifies and highlights but makes no final decisions on rejecting creatives or on financial questions.
  2. Workflows involving money run in reconciliation and alert mode, not data change: no automation credits or cancels anything.
  3. Access to the platform and providers — separate tokens with read-only rights, in the operator's vault.
  4. Every workflow logs its actions and reports errors to the chat; critical ones are backed by a manual checklist in case of downtime.

How implementation goes

We start by mapping what the team does by hand before every event and measuring how long it takes. We build the first workflow — usually creative checks or bonus reconciliation — and run it for two weeks in parallel with the manual process, comparing results. We switch over, document, add the next one. Automation is a separate contract as development; for clients from Russia that matters for tax.

FAQ

Can advertising legal compliance be automated?
A check against a formal checklist — yes: presence and size of disclaimers, prohibited words, age label. A legal assessment — no: disputed cases go to a human, and the checklist is drawn up with your lawyer for each market.
How do workflows get access to the platform?
Through the API or test accounts with minimal rights. Workflows read statuses and data but do not change them; all tokens are stored on your side.
How long does the first workflow take?
Creative checks or bonus reconciliation — one to two weeks including the trial period. Payment integration monitoring — two to four weeks, depending on the number of providers.
What happens if a workflow fails on event day?
The workflow reports the error to the chat; the team switches to the manual checklist we prepare for every critical workflow. During the support period we respond on the day of the request.
